Since 1999, China Electric Equipment (Jiangsu) Transformer Manufacture Co., Ltd. (CEEG) has proudly collaborated with DuPont, marking a pioneering milestone in China as the first to incorporate DuPont's exceptional Nomex paper as an insulation material in the construction of open-ventilated dry-type transformers.
The Ventilated Dry Type Transformer with Vacuum Pressure Impregnation Technology is expertly crafted to excel in environments demanding superior fireproofing and resilience against substantial rating fluctuations, dirt, and moisture. Ideal for diverse applications, this transformer is suitable for use in airports, subway systems, power plants, mining industries, hospitals, skyscrapers, bustling shopping centers, densely populated areas, and sectors like oil and nuclear industries.
Product Features
The CEEG Vacuum Pressure Impregnated Transformer stands out with its remarkable features, including robust overload capacity, high-temperature endurance, safety, unwavering reliability, fire retardancy, moisture resistance, and an environmentally conscious design. Its low noise operation, ease of maintenance, minimal partial discharge, and crack-free construction make it a superior choice.
1. DuPont Nomex® Paper
In partnership with DuPont since 1999, CEEG has been at the forefront in China for utilizing DuPont Nomex® Paper as an insulation material in non-encapsulated dry-type transformers. This innovation provides the transformer with a high insulation grade of class H or C. The tightly wrapped windings maintain structural integrity to endure short-circuit impacts over long-term service.
2. Silicon Steel Core or Amorphous Alloy Core
The core of the three-phase transformer is crafted from premium cold-rolled grain-oriented silicon steel sheets, precisely lap-jointed at 45 degrees with seven stepping seams, or from top-quality amorphous alloy strips. Its core is insulated with tape, separating it from the windings. A special square tube and draw plates secure the structure, while moisture and rust-resistant resin protect its surface. Designed to minimize no-load loss, no-load current, and noise, the amorphous alloy core model reduces no-load loss by an impressive 60%, significantly enhancing energy efficiency.
3. HV & LV Coils
The high-voltage winding features a continuous structure, delivering exceptional mechanical strength and thermal dissipation. It excels in damp-proofing and heat shock resistance, with partial discharge under 5PC, and can be rejuvenated after its service life. The low-voltage foil, made with F-grade DMD lamination, is presoaked in epoxy resin and thoroughly impregnated using VPI technology. This automated process ensures void-free insulation, with low voltage winding designed for high current capacity.
4. Additional Features
Multiple primary and secondary voltage options are available to align perfectly with customer specifications.
Equipped with fans to boost emergency overload capacity, ensuring seamless performance during critical conditions.
Features a self-extinguishing design that delivers superior fire resistance compared to oil-based transformers.
Ideal for handling harmonic loads with efficiency and reliability.
