As a trailblazer in China, CEEG introduced this innovative material to construct the first open-ventilated dry-type transformers, setting a benchmark in transformer technology.

The American Type Transformer with Advanced Ventilation for Enhanced Cooling is meticulously engineered to excel in environments demanding high standards of fireproofing, superior rating wave management, and resilience against dirt and moisture. Ideal for deployment in airports, subways, power plants, mining industries, hospitals, towering structures, bustling shopping centers, densely populated areas, oil industries, and nuclear power plants, it ensures unparalleled safety and performance.


Product Features

The CEEG Vacuum Pressure Impregnated transformer is a paragon of advanced engineering. It delivers robust overload capacity and exceptional high-temperature resistance, ensuring unwavering safety and reliability. This state-of-the-art transformer is fire retardant and moisture resistant, embodying eco-friendly principles with its low noise operation and ease of maintenance. Additionally, it promises low partial discharge and a crack-free design, making it a cornerstone of modern transformer technology.

1. DuPont Nomex® Paper

Forged from a strategic alliance with DuPont since 1999, CEEG stands as a pioneer in China for integrating DuPont Nomex® Paper as an insulation material in the fabrication of non-encapsulated dry-type transformers. This premium Nomex® Paper offers transformers an unmatched insulation grade of class H or C. The meticulously wrapped windings maintain a fortified structure capable of withstanding the rigors of short-circuit impacts, even after years of operation.

2. Silicon Steel Core or Amorphous Alloy Core

At the heart of this cutting-edge transformer is a core crafted from high-grade, cold-rolled, grain-oriented silicon steel sheets, precisely lap-jointed at 45 degrees with 7 stepping seams, or composed of high-quality amorphous alloy strips. Insulated tape encases the core, isolating it from the windings. Innovative square tubes and draw plates firmly secure the structure, while a protective moisture and rust-resistant resin coating adorns its surface. This design marvelously cuts down no-load loss, no-load current, and noise. The amorphous alloy core variant notably slashes no-load loss by a remarkable 60%, markedly boosting energy efficiency.

3. HV & LV Coils

The high-voltage winding is ingeniously designed with a continuous structure, delivering high mechanical strength and superior radiation capability. It excels in damp-proofing and endures heat shock, maintaining partial discharge below a mere 5PC. This winding can be rejuvenated post its service life. The F-grade DMD lamination low voltage foil, pre-immersed in epoxy resin, ensures impeccable layer insulation, enhanced through the VPI (vacuum pressure impregnating) process and high-temperature curing. This fully automated impregnation process guarantees a flawless, void-free insulation. The low voltage winding is equipped with high current taps, offering versatile functionality.
