Our medium-voltage vessel/ship and offshore platform transformers (voltage level below 10kV) are also available with the same impressive capacity. Specializing in custom designs, we tailor each solution to meet specific client needs, ensuring compliance with prestigious certifications from leading classification societies such as CCS, ABS, BV, DNVGL, LR, KR, NK, RINA, and more.
Curious about the operational brilliance of the AFWF transformer? Let us take you through its efficient functionality! The CEEG marine water-cooled transformer is purpose-built for large vessels, featuring a dual-cabinet design comprising a transformer cabinet and a state-of-the-art cooling system cabinet. Fans efficiently transfer the generated heat from the transformer cabinet to the cooling system cabinet, where cooled air is recirculated to maintain safe operation. By utilizing circulating water in the water-cooled equipment, the heat from the transformer is expelled from the ship, thus protecting other vital equipment and ensuring a stable temperature within the cabinet. This advanced cooling system incorporates main and auxiliary components including fans, water-cooling units, air ducts, leak alarms, temperature controllers, and water tanks, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
Explore the Key Features of the Marine Transformer
Impressive Resistance to Harsh Marine Conditions: The iron core surface is fortified with a special resin coating, providing exceptional protection against moisture, salt spray, mold, and rust.
Unmatched Efficiency and Longevity: Delivering low losses, minimal partial discharge, robust overload capacity, and reduced noise levels. This is achieved through the utilization of superior-quality, highly permeable grain-oriented cold-rolled silicon steel sheets with a thickness of 0.18-0.3mm, supported by a through-bolt structure to minimize noise.
Elevated Performance with Cutting-edge Techniques: Our coils undergo multiple varnish dips, and all electrical and mechanical connections are enhanced using specialized processes to ensure excellence.
Earthquake and Flame Protection: Featuring a 45° fully oblique step joint and square tube draw plate structure, the silicon steel core is securely bound with insulating tape, ensuring seismic resilience, flame retardance, and superior insulation.
Efficient Assembly: The modular design of the cabinet ensures quick and effortless installation, saving you time and effort.
Designed for Adaptability: We offer custom designs to meet any specific requirements, providing flexible options and ensuring prompt solutions to cater to your unique needs.
For streamlined cable management, the transformer's enclosure is equipped with a convenient stuffing box on either the left or right side. For transformers with capacities of 500kVA and above, bottom entry and exit is the standard method, with cable holes on the transformer base to guarantee secure and scratch-resistant cable handling.
Ideal Operating Conditions Functioning seamlessly within an ambient temperature range of -25°C to 45°C. Operating efficiently with a relative humidity of ≤ 95%. Capable of withstanding ship's swinging angles of ≤ 22.5° and tilt angles of ≤ 15°. Engineered to operate flawlessly under conditions including condensation, oil mist, salt spray, and mold. Our transformers are expertly crafted to endure vibrations and impacts, ensuring reliable performance under all circumstances.
