For low-voltage vessel/ship transformers operating below 1kV, our equipment supports impressive capacities of up to 8000kVA. Similarly, our medium-voltage vessel/ship and offshore platform transformers, working below 10kV, also offer capacities reaching up to 8000kVA. How does the AFWF transformer function?
The CEEG marine water-cooled transformer is intelligently crafted for large vessels, comprising two separate cabinets: the transformer cabinet and the innovative cooling system cabinet. Efficient fans expertly channel hot air from the transformer cabinet to the cooling system cabinet, where it is cooled and recirculated to ensure safe and optimal operation. The heat generated by the transformer is effectively expelled from the ship using a sophisticated circulating water system, protecting other equipment and maintaining stable cabinet temperatures. The advanced cooling system is a marvel of engineering, featuring main and auxiliary components such as high-performance fans, water-cooling units, air ducts, leak alarms, temperature controllers, and water tanks, all working in harmony for superior safety.

The transformer's enclosure is thoughtfully designed with a convenient stuffing box for cable entry and exit, positioned on either the left or right side to enhance accessibility. For transformers with capacities of 500kVA and above, the standard method is bottom entry and exit, complete with cable holes on the transformer base to ensure secure, scratch-proof cable handling, maximizing safety and operational efficiency.
