CEEG's AFWF Marine Transformer is a marvel of engineering, equipped with two cooling solutions: self-cooled (AN) and fan-cooled (AF). We proudly present our state-of-the-art AFWF transformers alongside our robust 12-pulse and 24-pulse rectifier transformers, among other sophisticated models. These adaptable transformers are essential for a myriad of applications like power supply, lighting, isolation, propulsion, and rectification in power grid networks.
Our exceptional transformers are available with insulation classes B, F, and H. Tailored for low-voltage vessel/ship needs (voltage level below 1kV), they boast capacities up to an impressive 8000kVA. Equally, our medium-voltage vessel/ship and offshore platform transformers (voltage level below 10kV) support substantial capacities of up to 8000kVA. We excel in providing bespoke designs to meet specific requirements, ensuring our products are certified by prestigious classification societies such as CCS, ABS, BV, DNVGL, LR, KR, NK, RINA, and more, guaranteeing unmatched quality and reliability.
How does the AFWF transformer function? Crafted for large vessels, the CEEG marine water-cooled transformer comprises two essential cabinets: a transformer cabinet and a cooling system cabinet. Ingenious fans efficiently transfer hot air from the transformer cabinet to the cooling system cabinet, recirculating cooled air back to guarantee seamless operation. The transformative heat is expelled from the ship via circulating water in the water-cooled equipment, providing protection to other equipment and maintaining a stable cabinet temperature. This advanced cooling system is equipped with main and auxiliary components including fans, water-cooling units, air ducts, leak alarms, temperature controllers, and water tanks, ensuring cutting-edge performance.
Key Features of the Marine Transformer
Outstanding Resistance to Moisture, Salt Spray, Mold, and Rust: Engineered with a special resin coating on the iron core surface to withstand harsh marine environments.
Unrivaled Efficiency and Durability: Engineered for low losses, minimal partial discharge, robust overload capacity, and quiet operation. Made possible by the use of premium, highly permeable grain-oriented cold-rolled silicon steel sheets with a precise thickness range of 0.18-0.3mm, and a through-bolt structure that significantly reduces noise.
Enhanced Performance with Cutting-Edge Techniques: Coils receive multiple varnish dips, while electrical and mechanical connections are crafted using specialized procedures to ensure superior performance.
Seismic Resilience: Constructed with a 45° fully oblique step joint and a square tube draw plate structure, secured with insulating tape, delivering outstanding earthquake resistance, flame retardation, and high insulation.
Effortless Installation: The innovative modular design of the cabinet simplifies and accelerates the installation process.
Tailored for Flexibility: Offering customizable designs to meet specific needs, providing flexible design solutions and prompt service responses.
Ingenious Cable Management: The transformer's enclosure is equipped with a versatile stuffing box for cable entry and exit, positioned conveniently on either the left or right side. For transformers with capacities of 500kVA and above, the default configuration is bottom entry and exit, with cable holes on the transformer base to ensure secure and scratch-free cable management.
Operating Conditions Reliable Performance in Temperature Extremes: Operates efficiently within an ambient temperature range of -25°C to 45°C. Superior Humidity Tolerance: Capable of functioning with a relative humidity of ≤ 95%. Adaptable to Ship's Movements: Endures a ship's swinging angle of ≤ 22.5° and a tilt angle of ≤ 15°. Built for Challenging Environments: Operational in conditions involving condensation, oil mist, salt spray, and mold. Engineered for Endurance: These transformers are crafted to withstand vibrations and impacts, ensuring reliable performance in dynamic conditions.
