CEEG's AFWF Marine Transformer exemplifies cutting-edge innovation with dual cooling methods: self-cooled (AN) and fan-cooled (AF). In addition, we present premium AFWF transformers, alongside 12-pulse and 24-pulse rectifier transformers among an array of models. These adaptable transformers are perfectly suited for diverse applications such as power supply, illumination, isolation, propulsion, and rectification within intricate power grids.
Our transformers are equipped with robust insulation classes B, F, and H. For the low-voltage vessel/ship transformers (below 1kV), capacities extend impressively up to 8000kVA. Equally, our medium-voltage vessel/ship and offshore platform transformers (below 10kV) also boast capacities reaching 8000kVA. We excel in crafting bespoke designs meticulously tailored to precise specifications. Moreover, our products are proudly certified by distinguished classification societies such as CCS, ABS, BV, DNVGL, LR, KR, NK, RINA, and several more.
What is the operational mechanism of the AFWF transformer? The CEEG marine water-cooled transformer, engineered for large naval vessels, features a sophisticated dual-cabinet system: a transformer cabinet and a cooling system cabinet. Remarkably efficient fans work tirelessly to transport hot air from the transformer cabinet to the cooling system cabinet, where it is recirculated as cooled air to assure safe operation. The heat generated by the transformer is effectively removed from the ship via circulating water in the water-cooled equipment, thus preserving the safety of other equipment while maintaining stable cabinet temperatures. The advanced cooling system is composed of essential main and auxiliary components, including fans, water-cooling units, air ducts, leak alarms, temperature controllers, and water tanks.
Key Features of the Marine Transformer
Outstanding Resistance to Moisture, Salt Spray, Mold, and Rust: The iron core surface is expertly treated with a unique resin coating, ensuring durability.
Unmatched Efficiency and Robustness: Designed to deliver low losses, minimal partial discharge, exceptional overload capacity, and reduced noise levels. This is accomplished through the use of top-grade, highly permeable grain-oriented cold-rolled silicon steel sheets measuring 0.18-0.3mm in thickness, along with a through-bolt structure that significantly minimizes noise.
Elevated Performance with Cutting-Edge Techniques: Coils are meticulously subjected to multiple varnish dips, while electrical and mechanical connections are crafted using specialized processes.
Seismic Durability: The silicon steel core incorporates a 45° fully oblique step joint and a square tube draw plate structure, bound with insulating tape, providing exceptional earthquake resistance, flame retardance, and superior insulation.
Seamless Installation: The cabinet's modular design ensures a swift and straightforward installation process.
Designed for Adaptability: Custom designs cater to specific needs, offering flexible design choices and rapid responses to requirements.
For cable management, the transformer's enclosure is equipped with a practical stuffing box on either the left or right side. For transformers with capacities of 500kVA and above, bottom entry and exit is the standard, with cable holes on the base ensuring secure and scratch-resistant cable handling.
Operating Conditions Ambient temperature range: From a chilly -25°C to a warm 45°C Relative humidity: A maximum of 95% Ship's swinging angle: Up to 22.5°, tilt angle: Up to 15° Operational conditions include exposure to condensation, oil mist, salt spray, and mold. Transformers engineered to withstand both vibrations and impacts, ensuring resilience in challenging environments.
