As trailblazers, CEEG was the first to incorporate this advanced insulation in their open-ventilated dry-type transformers, setting a benchmark in the industry.

Our VPI Transformer is meticulously engineered to excel in environments demanding impeccable fireproofing and resilience against harsh conditions such as extreme rating waves, dirt, and moisture. Ideal locations include airports, subways, power plants, mines, hospitals, skyscrapers, shopping centers, densely populated areas, oil industries, and nuclear power plants, ensuring safety and reliability where it's needed most.

The CEEG Vacuum Pressure Impregnated Transformer stands as a paragon of durability and efficiency, offering an exceptional array of features: robust overload capacity, superior high-temperature resistance, unparalleled safety and reliability, fire retardancy, moisture resistance, eco-friendliness, low noise levels, ease of maintenance, minimal partial discharge, and a crack-resistant design.

1. DuPont Nomex® Paper

Since establishing a strategic partnership with DuPont in 1999, CEEG has been at the forefront, utilizing DuPont Nomex® Paper in manufacturing non-encapsulated dry-type transformers. This high-grade insulation material ensures a class H or C insulation standard, with tightly wrapped windings that withstand short-circuit impacts even after prolonged service, ensuring long-lasting performance and reliability.

2. Silicon Steel Core or Amorphous Alloy Core

Our cores, crafted in a three-phase structure, utilize premium cold-rolled grain-oriented silicon steel sheets, jointed at a precise 45-degree angle with 7-step seams, or superior amorphous alloy strips. Insulated tape separates core from windings, while specialized square tubes and draw plates secure the structure. Moisture and rust-resistant resin coats the surface, sharply reducing no-load loss, no-load current, and noise. Notably, the amorphous alloy core model slashes no-load loss by 60%, dramatically boosting energy efficiency.

3. HV & LV Coils

Our high-voltage winding features a continuous structure for enhanced mechanical strength and efficient heat dissipation. Its damp-proof design withstands heat shock with partial discharge under 5PC, recoverable after service life. The F-grade DMD lamination low voltage foil is pre-soaked in epoxy resin for impeccable layer insulation, processed via VPI equipment and a high-temperature curing machine, ensuring a void-free finish. High current taps on low voltage windings cater to demanding applications.
